In May 2017 Sopa s’ niece, Kook (nickname) become a full time 2nd chef for Sopa and an integral part of the management team with Terry. Then, on January 17,2020 they opened the door of their 2nd restaurant and began trading as OZZYTHAI LITE at shop 1B 7 Yarra Street, South Yarra. About 10 weeks later the COVID-19 lockdowns & restrictions were enforced but, as restaurants were deemed as Essential Services, both restaurants remained open the entire time. Then, on June 4, 2021 they opened the door of their 3rd restaurant and began trading as 9 THAI RESTAURANT & TAKE AWAY by OZZYTHAI at 90 Bay Street, Port Melbourne
